CULTURAL DESIGN
The play The Merchant of Venice is based on the theme of justice, with the character of Portia being an underlying force in the story. The concept for the promotional poster focuses on a futuristic urban scene where Portia, represented by the ring, is controlling the balance between the other main characters.
As a social media strategy, the poster is animated in After Effects to create a short video for a Facebook/Instagram feed to advertise the production.
